Blackboxstocks is a sophisticated fintech company that provides real-time analytics and trading tools for stock and options traders. Their platform uses AI to find volatility and unusual market activity, giving their members a competitive edge.

The Challenge

While Blackboxstocks had a powerful product, their Google Ads campaigns were underperforming. They faced a high cost-per-acquisition (CPA) for new sign-ups, and inaccurate data from broken conversion tracking made it difficult to identify which campaigns were truly effective. Their ads were attracting low-quality clicks that didn't convert, wasting valuable budget.

My Solution

I implemented a full-funnel strategy focused on technical fixes and campaign optimization. The goal was to stop wasting money and start attracting traders who were genuinely interested in the platform.

  • Technical Foundation Repair: I first diagnosed and repaired their broken conversion tracking and implemented Enhanced Conversions. This gave us accurate data to work with and provided Google's AI with richer signals to find better users.
  • Strategic Keyword Overhaul: I analyzed their search term reports and built out an extensive list of negative keywords to eliminate wasted spend on irrelevant searches. I then created separate, dedicated campaigns for their top-performing "winning" keywords to assign them more budget and control.
  • Compelling Ad Copy: I rewrote their ad copy to be more effective, focusing on the unique benefits of the Blackboxstocks platform. This involved A/B testing different headlines and descriptions to increase click-through rates from qualified users.
